Oooh, pretty! I like the textures in the background, the colours are really nice. Though I think maybe they're a bit too, uhh, 'grainy'? Since Haku himself is so extremely clean and sharp. Speaking of which, I adore the shading on the mane, it looks so fluffy and smooth and is still so well defined waah. And the indicated scales are a nice addition, hehe.
aa to me it looked like movement? and it gave a land like texture to give the floating/distant effect haha. and i felt as if the contrast was necessary since i wanted to put haku in the spotlight c: really? thanks, i found that to be the most difficult v////v
pfff what do you mean this looks just as awesome as the sketch! I will always love how you shade dsjkfl;sfdsjfl I love how you just shade a few scales and I dunno how to explain it but it just looks really nice ♥ That fluff is shaded beautifully btw ;u;
Hmm I remember seeing a post somewhere about how sketches sometimes look more appealing since it looks clear where you're focusing on and more blurry on places you aren't because of the..sketchiness while finished pics are all very clear because they're all cleaned up. o: Maybe that's it?? XD You're welcome~
GAAH! : D I was obsessed with this guy when I first saw Spirited Away! And I still adore him of course :3 Who wouldnt?! Nice position! It flows very nicely which is something that is especially important for eastern dragons. The way you did his hair is also very nice! Very tousled yet natural
